Employment Practices


Employer and employee relationships are becoming more complex and suits against employers arising from "wrongful employment practices" are on the rise.  In today's environment, every business faces the risk that it will be sued by a past or present employee.  We represent private and public employers before federal courts, state courts and administrative tribunals with respect to wrongful employment claims.  We also educate employers concerning methods to avoid litigation.  Wrongful employment cases we have defended include claims based on discrimination under federal, state and local law (age, gender, disability), wrongful dismissal (including retaliation), wrongful discipline, whistleblower, tenure issues, and defamation.
